Pets when left unattended prey on fleas and indirectly consume harmful parasites such as Tapeworms. While the symptoms can begin with skin irritation, loss of hair and even spots all over the body, what’s more alarming is the tendency of parasites to multiple and affect internal organs.
This is the first habit you need to train your pet with – staying away from Fleas. At the minimum make sure a hygienic environment all around. Selecting a clean route for morning / evening walks can bring significant difference.Get them vaccinated, with no fail
Just like infants, pets have their requirements of regular vaccination against dangerous diseases. Depending upon the age, health and even breed, the choice of vaccine may vary. If ignored, they may get closer to life threatening diseases such as Rabies, Feline Leukemia, Hepatitis and Distemper.
Pets are more vulnerable to loose their immune strength and need routine visit to the Veterinary clinic! At times, regular checkups detect issues in spite of vaccinations.Brush their teeth, as regularly as you do yours!

While forcefully teething your pet could be troublesome, check out for various foods that release fluids and clean the teeth (just like we use mint gums).Don’t let them become obese
That’s the worst you could leave your pet with! Agility is what they love and are actually made for. Unchain them twice a day for an hour at least and let them roam freely in the premises. Engage them into games (throw ball and bring being the best) that demands running around and jumping.
If you don’t have enough space inside, take them for walks every day. Utilize fenced parks to unchain them. Obesity brings along, diabetes, joint pains and others. And of course rich Diet is all what they want
Pets love food! However their vulnerability to acquire diseases limits the choice to feed them anything. Not every snack is made for them. Feed your pets with high quality pedigree, milk (&milk products) and portable water to count a few. Consult a dietitian and follow strict regime here. Don’t toss anything sweet just like that. Sugar in little excess causes skin diseases.Bonus tip: Tag an ID to them
Less than 20% of pets track their way back home if lost. One simple way is to tie a loose tag around their neck with complete details of the owner. This will largely help if someone discovers it straying. Even better would be inserting a microchip. It can be fitted instantly inside the skin, not at all painful and needs no battery. You could track your pet’s movement anywhere.
Each of these caring for pets tips hint at the vulnerability of pets to acquire infections quickly. Following them as asked can help bestow a happier companion you had wanted.
